PITTSBURGH — One of Pittsburgh’s biggest banks is among the nation’s largest net branch openers since January 2020, according to a new report by S&P Global Market Intelligence.
Dollar Bank was No. 6 across 11 quarters with a net seven openings.
A mutual — meaning it is private and owned by its customers rather than by shareholders buying stock that trades on public markets — Dollar is based in downtown Pittsburgh. It is the largest mutual in the U.S. by assets and the seventh biggest bank in the 10-county Pittsburgh metro by deposit market share.
