Cloudy skies overnight, mild temperatures throughout the week

PITTSBURGH — It will be mild and pleasant this evening but breezy. Clouds will increase tonight, and lows will fall around the 40-degree mark.

This week will be mild and unsettled.

Grab a coat and umbrella before you head out the door on Monday. Showers will develop on Monday morning with breezy conditions expected for the first half of the day. It will be cooler but still above average, and temperatures will reach the upper 40s.

Windy conditions are expected Tuesday, gusts could reach up to 40 mph. A few showers are possible before lunchtime with decreasing clouds expected in the afternoon. Rain will move in on Wednesday, rain may be steady at times with showers into Thursday morning. Thursday will be the warmest day of the week; highs will be near 70 degrees which is the record high for the day that was set in 1922. Colder air will return Friday and continue into the start of the next weekend.
