• Fire damages several apartments in South Park Township

    SOUTH PARK TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Several families had to find another place to spend the night Monday after a fire damaged an apartment building in South Park Township.

    Officials said the fire started around 4 p.m. on Parkford Drive, destroying two apartments and damaging others.

    No residents were hurt in the blaze. One firefighter suffered minor injuries while battling the flames, officials said.

    The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
