Free admission to children's museum for Mr. Rogers' birthday

In honor of the beloved Pittsburgher's birthday, the Children's Museum of Pittsburgh  is offering free admission.

Anyone taking advantage of the offer is asked to bring a gently used book for the “Summer Books For Kids” book drive.

This is the 13th year the museum is offering free admission to mark the special day.

Rogers passed away in 2003.  The final “Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood” aired in 2001 after entertaining and educating children for more than three decades.
