The company says the bread, which was sold under the Giant Eagle brand name, is safe to eat for those who do not have milk allergies.
The recalled Irish Soda Bread was sold between February 24 and March 11 with a UPC of 20761800000 and a net weight of 16 ounces.
Giant Eagle says one customer became sick after eating the Irish Soda Bread.
Customers with a milk allergy who have purchased the affected product should dispose of it or return it to their local Giant Eagle for a refund.
The company says the issue has since been resolved and all Irish Soda Bread currently on the shelf is labeled.
