A little girl got an unexpected slap in the face after meeting Queen Elizabeth II in Cardiff, Wales.
The 6-year-old girl, Maisie, curtsied and gave a posy to the queen, who was presenting new colors to the Royal Welsh Regiment Thursday. Shortly thereafter, the girl got caught up in the unfortunate incident as the queen made her exit.

Video captured the moment when a guard snapped a salute, accidentally hitting the girl in the face in the process.
The queen didn't seem to notice, but the guard offered his apologies.
