PITTSBURGH — Heinz -- already the maker of American’s favorite ketchup -- is now looking to make your favorite mustard as well.
According to BusinessWire, Heinz is launching a new, better-tasting yellow mustard than it's ever offered before.

On Thursday, Heinz unveiled its new advertising campaign, “Ketchup’s Got a New Mustard.”

“Our yellow mustard launch is unprecedented for Heinz and for the mustard category,” said Eduardo Luz, president of Heinz North America. “Heinz is America’s Favorite Ketchup, and we’re aiming to become America’s favorite mustard, too. We want people to love their yellow mustard as much as they love our ketchup.”
BusinessWire reports Heinz's mustard uses 100 percent natural ingredients.
“We know that people don’t really think about yellow mustard, so we needed to inspire them with a bold creative idea to shake things up a bit,” said Jessica Ryan, associate director of marketing, Heinz Brands at Heinz North America. “Our new campaign focuses on the idea that Heinz Ketchup has been with the wrong mustard for years, but finally found a mustard that lives up to its high standards of taste.”
In several funny clips, the advertising campaign focuses on ketchup’s “break up” with its ex-mustard and its new life with Heinz mustard.

BusinessWire reports Heinz Yellow Mustard is available in 8 oz., 14 oz., and 20 oz. upside-down squeeze bottles for a suggested retail price starting at $1.69.
