LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. — A Lawrence County man is accused of stabbing his friend with a steak knife.
Police said Reginald Murphy and Jeff Mansfield were fighting over a woman.
Investigators said the two men were driving down Lowry Street in New Castle early Wednesday morning when the argument escalated. Police said Murphy began throwing punches and then pulled out the knife.
According to police, Mansfield said he didn’t realize he’d been stabbed until he saw the amount of blood coming from his arm.
Murphy is facing several charges including criminal attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
