Volunteers searching for missing woman find her body in local yard

NEW CASTLE, Pa. — Volunteers searching for Sabrina Salamon, 39, in New Castle found her body on Thursday, police confirmed.

Salamon’s body was discovered in a yard near Arlington Avenue and Long Avenue.

An autopsy will be done to determine how Salamon died.

She was reported missing on Dec. 20. Since that day, family, search groups and officers have made many attempts to find her.
