“I was coming home from the coffee shop on Eighth Avenue. By the time I got up here, they were lined up like this was the OK corral,” said Keith Baker.
Baker said a bullet from the shooting was fired into his home’s front porch.
“These people out here, they don’t care if a life is taken,” Baker said.
Police sources tell Channel 11 News that there were two other men in the victim’s car, but they took off before officers arrived.
“My neighbors are upset and I don’t blame them. They’re talking about putting more police on the force. I could bring in the army and it’s not going to stop it,” said Homestead Mayor Betty Esper.
On Monday afternoon, police took one man into custody for questioning. However, no charges have been filed.
