At least two people flown to the hospital from Unity Township crash

UNITY TWP, Pa. — At least two people were flown to the hospital following a serious crash in Unity Township, Westmoreland County.

The crash happened on Route 982 near Coventry Lane just after 6 a.m. Monday.

Officials told Channel 11 that two vehicles were involved.

When we got to the scene, the road was blocked by first responders.

It’s unclear what caused the crash. We’re working to get an update on the condition of the injured.
