Ever wonder where all those things left behind at the airport end up? Well, some of them could be yours if the price is right.
Pittsburgh International Airport’s Lost and Found Auction is back, with everything from an electric bike to cars up for grabs.
One traveler’s mistake could be your next treasure.

“We try to get these back to their rightful owners,” said Garrett Wilkerson of Joe R. Pyle Auctions. “However, it’s about impossible to get everything back to those people.”
Wednesday, Channel 11 got a look at some of what’s on the table, including more than 20 cars, a Windone folding electric bike, a Casio G-Shock metal watch and — for the kids — a singing Miss Rachel doll.
You’ll be able to get a look at the items yourself.
“We’ll have a preview here on September the seventh so people can come view the items before they bid on them,” Wilkerson said.
Auction day is Sept. 8. You’ll want to keep a close watch on those bids.
“So, anytime somebody bids in the last 30 seconds, it gets extended by another 30 seconds,” Wilkerson said.
Joe R. Pyle Auctions expects anywhere from 2,000 to 3,000 bidders.
Proceeds from the auction will support the Allegheny County Airport Authority Charitable Foundation. It helps fund workforce development initiatives meant to inspire the next generation of aviation workers.
