NEW MEXICO — A man from New Mexico said his favorite Steelers jacket helped saved his life.
The homeowner said he put on his leather Pittsburgh Steelers jacket before running out of his burning home last week.
As it turns out, the fire melted the back of the coat, but protected him from being severely burned.
The man said an anonymous donor gave him a new jacket to replace the damaged one.
