Man shot in North Side in serious condition

PITTSBURGH — A man is in serious condition after police said he was shot in Pittsburgh's North Side Wednesday.

Investigators said the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. on East Ohio Street.

The man told police he was walking into an apartment when heard gunshots and was shot in the side, police said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he's listed in serious condition.

So far, no arrests have been made.
