PITTSBURGH — A young man wanted for armed robbery of a motor vehicle was arrested by police and SWAT units.
According to information shared by Pittsburgh public information officers, SWAT and police served a search warrant at a house on Pritchard Street in Sheraden on Thursday morning.
That is where they arrested Jayon Pridgen, 19, who had two warrants out for his arrest.
Police say Pridgen was a suspect in an armed carjacking that happened in Chartiers City and was also wanted for a simple assault charge.
New charges were filed after police reported finding an illegal ghost gun inside the house.
Pridgen is being held at the Allegheny County Jail.
