Cold temperatures overnight, warm pleasant days expected throughout the week

PITTSBURGH — A nice evening with decreasing clouds is expected tonight. Temperatures turn cold once again; lows will drop to the mid-20s.

If you like spring weather this week is for you! Monday morning will start cold, but temperatures will jump back to the low 50s by the afternoon. Valentine’s Day will be nice with sunshine and some afternoon clouds, and highs will reach the mid-50s. More clouds build around dinner time with a few spotty showers late in the evening. Rain showers are possible overnight.

Sunny and much warmer Wednesday. Winds will kick up from the southwest pushing temperatures close to record marks. The record high on Wednesday is 69° set back in 1954. Clouds building late at night with periods of rain, gusty winds, and some isolated thunder on Thursday. Colder air will rush back in late at night for Friday.
