New hotel in the works would offer phenomenal views of Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — A new hotel is in the works that will supposedly give guests some of the best views of the city.

According to Channel 11's news exchange partners at TribLIVE, a Bridgeville developer plans to build a Hampton Inn and Suites at the foot of Mount Washington, right next to the Duquesne Incline.

The 15-story hotel will have a three-level parking garage and a 15th-floor observation deck.

All rooms will have a view of the three rivers and Point State Park.

A date hasn’t been set for the Planning Commission to vote on the project.
