The National Weather Service has confirmed that storms on Sunday spurred a tornado in Armstrong County.
NWS survey teams say they located tornado damage in the Orchard Hills area of Armstrong County.
The tornado’s rating has not yet been confirmed, as the NWS is reviewing the survey team’s findings.
This is the second confirmed tornado out of Sunday’s storms. The other one touched down in Beaver County.
It’s also the 30th tornado in the Pittsburgh region this year.
