LOWER BURRELL, Pa. — On Tuesday, Channel 11 spoke with Oakbridge Academy students after their school was unexpectedly shut down.
"I had internships set up, my life planned to six months up to graduation and now I have no idea," said Dana Pfister.
The announcement was made after lunch on Monday, sparking emotion.
"Everyone started crying, panicking, hugging and talking to try to figure stuff out," said Kimberly Durik.
Some of the students have shelled out thousands of dollars for the education.
Channel 11 went to the school to get answers Tuesday. People were inside the building, but no one answered the door.
Later, Channel 11 got a fax saying the school and the Newport Business Institute were victims of the economy.
