CENTER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A police officer wasn’t seriously injured after getting dragged about 10 yards while chasing a robbery suspect Friday in Beaver County.
Authorities told Channel 11's Amy Marcinkiewicz that the officer was at the Center Township Walmart for a separate incident when he noticed something strange.
The officer chased Herbert Jones, who was a wanted fugitive out of East Liverpool, Ohio, and eventually took him into custody.
