PENN HILLS, Pa. — A fire left one person in serious condition Saturday afternoon.
The two-alarm fire started just after 3 p.m. at 225 Alcoma Blvd., according to our news partners at the Tribune-Review.

The fire started after food being cooked was left unattended.
A female resident was taken to the hospital and police officer also underwent treatment at the scene for smoke inhalation.
