Reed and her husband on Wednesday contacted the store, which they said was "very cooperative," according to NBC 10. They were referred to the grower in California and told that the venomous spiders are a problem there.
Bites from black widow spiders are rarely fatal to humans, but they can cause muscle pain, vomiting and sweating.
