PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Penguins traded hockey helmets for Santa hats on Thursday as they met with and delivered Christmas presents to patients at UPMC Children’s Hospital.
Evgeni Malkin, Marc-Andre Fleury and more than a dozen other players interacted with patients and their families, took photos and signed autographs.
The Penguins visiting Children’s Hospital has been a team tradition since the 1970s.
