PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh police are searching for a woman who they say purposely hit a man with a vehicle.

First responders were called to Stranahan and Short streets in Homewood North around 3:50 p.m., according to Allegheny County 911.
A Pittsburgh Public Safety Department spokesperson says the man suffered significant injuries to his lower body. He’s now in the hospital in critical condition.
The victim told police he was in the vehicle’s driver’s seat when an argument started.
He got out, and the woman in the passenger’s seat moved over. She allegedly drove into him before fleeing.
Channel 11 crews saw police officers searching around a Kia Sorento in the area. The vehicle will soon be towed away, officials tell us.
Violent Crime and Mobile Crime units are now investigating.
