JEANNETTE, Pa. — Planet Fitness donated gym equipment to Jeannette Fire Department on Tuesday.
According to a release, the gym donated an Arc Trainer, an elliptical and a spin bike after the fire department approached the club manager and asked to buy the equipment for their new fire station.
The release said the club manager thought they should donate equipment that hadn’t been used in a while instead.
“Planet Fitness regularly updates equipment to ensure the best member experience. When we do this, we look for opportunities to donate and help the local community when we have equipment available,” Planet Fitness said in a release.
