McKEESPORT, Pa. — Police arrested a bank robbery suspect Tuesday morning in McKeesport after a brief chase.
Authorities said 24-year-old Christopher Gaspersz is accused of robbing the Huntingdon Bank on Lysle Boulevard around 10 a.m.
Gaspersz, who told officers he’s homeless, was arrested after a brief foot chase, authorities said.

“Through some bad terrain and down over the railroad tracks, I think it was a great job by everybody,” said Capt. Tim Hanna of McKeesport police.
Police said Gaspersz ran through a cemetery, where he dropped part of his clothing and some of the cash he took from the bank.
Police said Gaspersz is a convicted robbery felon who was wanted on several parole violations.
Once in custody, he reportedly confessed to two other bank robberies in Philadelphia.
Investigators told Channel 11’s Renee Kaminski that the bank has been robbed three times in the past eight months.
