Police search for man accused in deadly Spring Hill shooting

PITTSBURGH — Police said they're looking for a man accused in a deadly shooting in Spring Hill last week.

Investigators said Lawrence "Red” Simmons and two other men forced their way into an apartment on Rhine Street Friday night, demanded money and shot two people.

Terry James, 38, was killed. A woman was also pistol-whipped and shot in the arm.

Anyone with information on Simmons' whereabouts should contact police immediately.
