Route 28 reopens after multi-vehicle crash, fire in O’Hara Township

O'HARA TOWNSHIP, Pa — All southbound lanes of Route 28 in O’Hara Township were closed for about an hour Monday morning following a multi-vehicle crash and fire.

The call came in just after 11 a.m. in the area just before the Highland Park Bridge.

According to officials, four vehicles were involved in the crash and at least one was on fire. There was at least one injury reported.

Around noon, one southbound lane of traffic reopened. Just before 1 p.m., all other lanes reopened.
