On Thursday, Newsweek released its 2022 list of the 100 Most Loved Workplaces in America. It’s the second year that Newsweek has compiled the list, in collaboration with BPI.
Over 1.4 million employees were surveyed on whether they “truly love and feel in sync with the company they work for.” Newsweek said that 450 companies were accepted to apply for “Most Loved Workplace” certification, nearly 300 made the cut, and the list was narrowed down to 100 based on criteria such as the importance of collaboration, opportunities for advancement and whether or not the company is truly a “good citizen.”
This year, three Pittsburgh-based companies made the list.
Coming in highest at spot No. 13 out of 100 is Ansys Inc. (NASDAQ: ANSS), the Canonsburg-headquartered software and simulation company with over 5,000 employees.
At spot No. 71 is United States Steel Corp. The Kraft Heinz Co. (NYSE: KHC), which is dual-headquartered in Pittsburgh and Chicago, came in at spot No. 98.
