PITTSBURGH — A party in Pittsburgh celebrated all things bacon.
The BaconBurgh festival returned to the South Side Works Sunday.
More than a dozen food trucks gathered, all offering something incorporating bacon.
Organizers say they hope BaconBurgh continues to grow, perhaps even rivaling Picklesburgh.
“It’s a really exciting event,” food and travel content creator Alex Goodstein said. “We wanted to try to bring the festivals here to Pittsburgh, more than just the one that we know about already.”
The event also featured vendors, live music, mechanical pig rides and an appearance by the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.
