PITTSBURGH — Spirit Airlines announced that nonstop flights from Pittsburgh to Newark, N.J. will soon be available for customers.
“We know people are eager to travel this summer, and we’re happy to add new, high-value options for Guests looking to visit friends and family in northern New Jersey or those seeking affordable options to travel from the Garden State across the country,” said John Kirby, Vice President of Network Planning at Spirit Airlines.
The flight is the latest addition for Spirit at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Spirit carries more than 10% of PIT’s passengers, and currently offers eight other different year-round destinations to passengers:
- Cancun
- Mexico
- Ft. Lauderdale
- Las Vegas
- Los Angeles
- Orlando
- Tampa
According the a press release, this new route will give Pennsylvanians the opportunity to reach the New Jersey/New York area at a low cost.
Daily, nonstop flights from Pittsburgh to Newark will be available starting June 22, 2022.
