Pennsylvania State Police are searching for the suspects in a theft involving driveway sealing in Greene County.
According to PSP, three people approached older homeowners who’d recently had their driveway paved, claiming they were with the paving company and were there to seal it.
One of the suspects talked with the victims inside their home, while the others began “spraying” the driveway without permission, PSP says.
The suspects reportedly demanded payment by check, two of which they’ve since tried to cash.
Troopers describe the suspects as a short white male with red/blond hair, a young white male with dark hair and an older male with gray hair and glasses. They’re said to be wearing neon yellow shirts and blue jeans.
One of the suspects has been identified as Johnny Carroll of South Carolina, PSP says.
The suspects may be driving a newer model white Dodge pickup truck with “DPS” written on it, or a blue Ford pickup truck.
