PITTSBURGH -- A Strip District nightclub is closing after a shooting at the establishment over the weekend.
The Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office announced Wednesday afternoon that Club Ivy will close its doors.
A man was shot at the club over the weekend, and half a dozen others were hurt by broken glass.
According to Allegheny County District Attorney Stephen Zappala Jr., the owner of the club met with police, the District Attorney’s Office and Liquor Control Enforcement Wednesday morning and agreed to voluntarily close.
