Police were called to search for a teen who went missing in the woods early Sunday morning.
The teen was with 10 of his friends near Frew Mill Road in Kennedy Mills when he went missing around 3:30 a.m.
Officials said they quickly found the boy and assumed he and his friends were having a party.
No drugs and alcohol were involved, but police said they did give the teens a one-hour lecture about how it was a bad idea to be in that particular area, especially at night.
"(They're) lucky they made it out safely," said a state police officer.
The area the teens were wandering is private property and very rural, high terrain.
