PITCAIRN, Pa. -- Pitcairn police charged a father and stepmother Friday after their son was found outside in the cold.
Authorities said a disoriented 13-year-old wandered into the police station Friday morning.
According to police, he had been outside in a T-shirt and jeans for over an hour. The temperature at the time was minus 3.
The teen told police he was frequently put outside as punishment.
Police arrested Stacey Greene and Shanna Jenkins.
Jenkins allegedly admitted to leaving the 13-year-old outside in the cold.
Greene and Jenkins are both in jail.
