MURRYSVILLE, Pa. — Thousands turned out for the Blessing of the Bikes at Murrysville Alliance Church in Westmoreland County Sunday.
The event was held in the parking lot at the church, but the crowd was so large that some people had to go across Route 22 to find parking.

This was the 19th year for the event, which is organized by the church's biker ministry.
The biker ministry provided participants with refreshments and extended an invitation for all to come to the church service prior to the event.
