Vandals cause $10K in damage to Graham Park in Cranberry Twp.

CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Cranberry Township police are investigating after vandals caused an estimated $10,000 in damage to a park over the weekend.

Authorities said vandals damaged the lighting, fishing pond and flag posts at Graham Park off of Rochester Road sometime between Friday and Monday.

“Damage was done to lighting in the park and downspouts on several buildings, as well as in one of the public restrooms,” Cranberry Township police Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said. “Numerous items were thrown into the Boy Scouts of America fishing pond. Lighting around several of the flag posts were damaged.”

Investigators told Channel 11 News that the vandals even stole several American flags.
