Venango County man accused of raping 25-year-old woman

CRANBERRY, Pa. — Police arrested a Venango County man Saturday morning accused of rape.

According to police, officers arrested 25-year-old Akeem Robinson of Oil City. Robinson is accused of breaking into a 25-year-old woman’s Cranberry Township home and raping her.

The victim’s name has not been released, but police said she knows Robinson.

Robinson is being held in the Venango County Jail on $50,000.
