SPEERS, Pa. — Ryan Pfrogner, 18, was formally charged with one felony and several misdemeanors Tuesday after police arrested him for making pipe bombs inside his home and taking one of the bombs to Charleroi High School in his car.
Pfrogner was charged with risking a catastrophe, prohibited offensive weapons and possession of a weapon on school property.
In the affidavit filed by police, investigators said two live pipe bombs made of PVC, gun powder and a fuse were in Pfrogner's bedroom at his home in Speers. Other bomb-making materials were also found at that home.
Pfrogner's court date will likely be at the end of December but it hasn't been set yet.
