Multiple vehicles involved in crash on I-70 in Washington County, injuries reported

WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. — A multi-vehicle crash caused Interstate 70 westbound in Washington County to close for several hours Saturday morning.

According to Washington County 911, the crash was at mile marker 13 in North Franklin Township.

There were reported injuries from the crash but there’s no word on how many or how severe they were.

I-70 westbound was closed around 4 a.m. so a medical helicopter could land and transport a patient.

As of 7:40 a.m., I-70 had reopened.
