PITTSBURGH — A water main break sent water shooting into the air in Pittsburgh’s East Allegheny neighborhood on Thursday morning.

The break happened at the intersection of Madison and Spring Garden avenues right by the ramp to I-279.
Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority trucks are on scene, and the water has been shut off.
Channel 11 learned that crews were there at 6:30 a.m. and already working on a leak on the 24-inch water main when the line blew.
