LOCUST GROVE, Okla. — A high school football team in Oklahoma is not just breaking records with their win Friday night; they are making memories as the town rallied around a little boy with cancer.
Seven-year-old Colt Rowland may look like a healthy little boy, but he is battling leukemia.
The family said they have relied on their faith and their community to get them through this challenging time.

At their game against Claremore-Sequoyah Friday night, players dressed in special jerseys with a Batman symbol on them. Batman is Colt’s favorite superhero.
Roberts Auto Group donated the special jerseys the players, including Colt, during the game. On the back of the jerseys, players put the name of a loved one battling cancer.
During the game, Colt was able to lead the team onto the field and deliver the game ball.

Colt then suited up, and the boy was able to score a touchdown.

His family said they are humbled by the support.
The jerseys will be auctioned off later this week, and proceeds will go to Colt’s family.
