BUTLER, Pa. — A judge sentenced the killer of 4-year-old Bentley Miller to up to 60 years in prison after an unexpected plea deal was offered in the case.
Keith Jordan Lambing took the plea deal last week. He admitted to abusing his girlfriend’s son in 2017.

Bentley died after being left alone in a hotel room while his mother was at work. Police arrested Lambing after weeks on the run.
He originally faced life in prison and was scheduled to stand trial before the plea deal emerged.
Prosecutors said the deal Lambing made with prosecutors spared the little boy’s family from having to relive his murder.
The boy’s mother, Mackenzie Peters, was sentenced to three years probation in the case.
