BUTLER COUNTY, Pa.,None — Butler Township police continue to search for the person responsible for shooting a man in a Walmart parking lot Saturday evening.
Investigators said the shooting happened around 7 p.m. as a 21-year-old exited his vehicle in the Butler Commons parking lot.
Officers said the victim was shot in the back and flown to an area hospital. He is expected to be OK.
Police have not released many details, but Channel 11's Vince Sims said a lieutenant told him that the victim knew at least one person in the car of the gunman.
Investigators are calling it an "isolated incident" and not a random act of violence. No arrests have been made.
