QUINCY, Mass. — Emergency responders broke into a car Wednesday morning to rescue a baby accidentally left in the back seat.
Rescuers knew the baby was there because the one-year-old’s father called 911 after boarding a commuter train and realizing he had left the child in the car.

The child was left in the car for 35 minutes but was not injured, officials said.
The man, whose name was not released, said he had dropped one child off at school and then forgot to take the baby to a day care center. He was not charged in the incident.
