PITTSBURGH — If you’re a fan of old school Nickelodeon programming -- like “Rugrats” and “Hey Arnold” -- you may be in luck!
According to Variety, a top programming executive recently suggested that the network is considering ways to bring back some of its old popular shows.

"We are looking at our library to bring back ideas, shows that were loved, in a fresh new way," Russell Hicks, president of content and development at Nickelodeon, told Variety.
Variety reports the shows may not come back as a series, but could be made as a movie or a special.

According to Variety, the effort appears to have begun.
Kel Mitchell, co-star of the popular series "Kenan & Kel," will have a role in "Game Shakers" -- a new series set to debut Sept. 12, according to Variety.
