PITTSBURGH,None — Crews have cut down two acres worth of oak trees in Pittsburgh's Frick Park after oak wilt killed 30 trees and infected 30 more.
Oak wilt, which is a fungus, has not been found in any residential areas or at Schenley or Riverview parks. Officials, however, are investigating a possible outbreak in Highland Park.
The city is removing the trees to prevent the infection from spreading.
