WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Police were called Tuesday evening for a shooting outside an apartment building in West Mifflin, Channel 11’s Catherine Varnum reported.
The shooting was reported shortly after 5 p.m. on B Drive, outside Mifflin Estates. Police said Allegheny County homicide detectives were called to the scene.
One man was transported to a local hospital where he died. The medical examiner identified the victim as Kile Petty, 21, of McKeesport.
Chopper 11 flew over the area, where there was a large presence of police emergency vehicles.
