PITTSBURGH — Several members of the Pittsburgh Penguins were busy delivering Thanksgiving meals to local families Monday.
The team practiced Monday morning and then players, such as Phil Kessel and Jeff Zatkoff, made their way to the Hill House Kaufmann Center in the Hill District for the delivery.

Five players made the short trek to the Kaufmann Center to give out free turkeys and vegetables to 100 families.
“I think it is very important for the Penguins to continue this. This is their backyard,” said Karen Bullock, of Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
The event was held in partnership with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
