UNITY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Greensburg police are investigating after the Latrobe Speedway concession stand building was burglarized and damaged.
Police say the electronic speaker system and food items were taken and total approximately $3,000.%

"They took all the pop cans, smashed them on the walls in here, threw a bunch out through here (and) threw them out onto the track. Took all the boats, belts, forks, knives, all over the floor,” Latrobe Speedway promoter Dennis Bates said.
Approximately $10,000 worth of damage was also done when food items were dumped throughout the building, walls and windows were spray-painted and an attempt to flood the bottom floor was made.
"It’s been very difficult. Things are very tight and having this type of thing happen to us is definitely a major setback," Bates said.
Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact police.
